An award-winning writer and translator based in Vancouver, Canada. She received the 2018 TA First Translation Prize for her translation of Han Yu-Ju’s _The Impossible Fairy Tale_, which was also a finalist for both the 2018 PEN Translation Prize and the 2018 National Translation Award. She has translated Ha Seong-Nan’s _Flowers of Mold_, Ancco’s _Bad Friends_, Keum-Suk Gendry Kim’s _Grass_, and Yeon-Sik Hong’s _Umma’s Table_.
